Josina Hoekstra

After completing a Master’s degree in Finance at the University of Groningen, and a Master’s degree in Behavioral Economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, I joined Clearwater as an Analyst in September 2023.

I’ve also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business Economics, with a specialisation in International Economics & Business, giving me the opportunity to study abroad for a semester in Toronto, Canada.

Mostafa Charafeddin

I joined Clearwater International's Stockholm office in June 2023. Before joining the business, I gained over two years’ experience in M&A advisory at Deloitte Corporate Finance, along with previous analyst roles at Erik Penser Bank and StrukturInvest (Strivo). Throughout my career, I have been involved in numerous sell-side transactions with Scandinavian and Swedish companies across various sectors and industries. I have successfully completed transactions with three different buyer profiles including private equity companies, strategic buyers, and international buyers (cross-border). I hold an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, which also included an exchange semester in Italy. Concurrently with my studies at KTH, I have completed a BSc degree in Business & Economics from Stockholm University.

Andreas Paulsen

I joined Clearwater as an Analyst in 2023. My work spans various industries, involving market research, analysis, and preparation of sales material. Being part of a dedicated team gives me the opportunity to expand my skills and tackle new challenges across sectors and companies. Before joining Clearwater, I served as a Teaching Assistant at Aarhus University and participated in several case workshops through International Case Teams.

Alexander Søderquist

My passion for M&A comes from its ever-changing nature where no two days are alike. Since 2016, I've been advising on local and international transactions, particularly within the TMT and healthcare sectors. I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with professional and passionate investors and owner-managers who need guidance in some of the most critical decisions of their careers – that's what gives me the drive.

Fabio Vai

In May 2024, I joined Clearwater's Debt Advisory team in the Frankfurt office and have a wealth of experience in debt advisory through various internships, starting at Commerzbank, before transitioning to Kroll and Deutsche Bank in Milan. 

Outside work, I find time for activities such as running, football, and snowboarding as well as cooking Italian food and other international dishes with friends.

Filipa Fontão

I recently re-joined Clearwater International as an Analyst after completing my internship with the company back in September 2020. I hold a BSc in Management and an MSc in Finance, both from the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto. Since re-joining Clearwater, I have had the opportunity to work with experienced professionals in M&A operations, while connecting my training with real-life experiences in Corporate Finance.

Rory Crossen

I joined Clearwater in 2019 on the graduate programme, working within the deal leader team across various sectors. My role offers me the opportunity to interact with a mix of clients as well as allowing me to work alongside an international network of experienced and knowledgeable people. Before joining Clearwater I studied History at the University of Sheffield. I also had a summer internship at the Royal Bank of Canada.

Niccolò Querci

I am a founding partner of our Italian team and to date, I have accrued over 20 years of experience in extraordinary finance operations. Throughout my professional journey, I have been involved in over 60 M&A transactions across various sectors, both domestic and international. I collaborate with entrepreneurs and investors to achieve their strategic objectives, foster the growth of their companies, and devise solutions that generate value.

Jens Pardey

I started working in Swiss mid-market corporate finance in 2008 and have since spent my career advising on M&A-transactions, financings, and debt restructurings. I also act as interim CFO for my clients. Since 2023, I am a Senior Adviser in the Clearwater Switzerland team. 

I graduated from the University of St. Gallen with a master's degree in Strategy and International Management.
