Christian van Iersel

In 2020 I joined Clearwater as part of the intern programme, before re-joining on a permanent basis in 2022 as a M&A Analyst. In between these dates, I worked as an Assistant Controller at OMA. Alongside my studying, I also completed an internship in commercial finance at PepsiCo. I obtained a MSc in Financial Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and a BSc in International Economics & Business from Radboud University in Nijmegen, which also included one exchange semester spent in the US.

Joining Clearwater in March 2020, I am part of our international marketing team, focusing on crafting engaging content across digital channels with an emphasis on strategic content creation and effective communication. With over eight years of marketing experience in corporate finance, technology, asset management, and professional services, I thrive in collaborative, international environments. I am committed to driving our team's success and Clearwater's global impact.

I hold an MSc in Marketing and Management from the University of Bradford, School of Management, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Bruce Weir

As COO of Clearwater, I bring over 25 years of experience in finance and operational leadership roles, with a focus on building high-performance teams, systems, and processes to enable as well as drive growth, alongside setting and implementing strategic direction. At Clearwater, I will be working alongside all my international colleagues driving improvements and building value across the business. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte and have subsequently worked as a CFO and COO at a variety of international financial services firms across the advisory and private equity sectors. I graduated from Nottingham University with a BA in Economics.

Oleg Artjuschkin

I joined Clearwater in August 2021. My focus is on the Automotive & Mobility sector, but I also support our team in other sectors. Clearwater offers exciting challenges every day, each client has different needs, which makes each project unique. Together with our local and international teams, we always find tailored solutions to achieve the best possible results for all involved parties. The exchange with our international offices is particularly interesting in the context of our cross-border transactions. Outside of work, I enjoy sports, whether snowboarding in the mountains or on the golf course. I am a big fan of Indian cuisine and like to educate myself in the areas of technology and programming.

Florian Galizia

I joined Clearwater’s Marseille office in 2022 as an Associate. Prior to this, I spent five years in M&A at Capitalmind working on small and mid-cap transactions, including disposals, LBO, acquisitions and financing. I then moved to the Corporate team at Group SNEF, working across corporate control and external growth. These experiences have given me the opportunity to support entrepreneurs, SMEs and corporates in a wide range of sectors, including industrials, food & agro, and business services. My decision to join Clearwater International was based on the quality of its teams, international reach and ambitions across the Mediterranean region. I also have a master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Audencia Business School.

Ellen Marson

With six years of experience in marketing, starting my career as an apprentice and becoming a full-time employee at a Midlands-based business, developing extensive knowledge and skills. Later, joining Clearwater to support the international marketing team, strategically developing the marketing across the firm.

Hemavli Bali

I joined Clearwater in December 2018 to lead M&A advisory within healthcare and life sciences technology and specialist services - including life science commercialisation services, e-clinical solutions, healthcare IT, software and IP driven consultancies. My 21 year career has traversed investment banks, Big Four firms and M&A boutiques and I joined Clearwater for its truly international team, passion for high quality client service, culture and dynamism. I have spent 16 years in M&A advisory, in the UK and the US, and advised on over 40 transactions across the sell- side, buy-side, owner-managed businesses, large corporates, private equity and public to private transactions. I have also provided extensive Board level advice both pre- and post-deal processes. The healthcare and life science industry, and its increasing technology enablement, has been my main focus throughout. Deals I have advised on include the sales of Age UK’s telecare business to Axa PPP Healthcare, Medaxial to Covance, Abacus International to Decision Resources Group and Synergy to DDB, Omnicom. I have previously held roles at Deloitte, Results International, Nomura, Royal Bank of Canada and Ernst & Young. I am a Chartered Accountant and hold a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
