Fabienne Hohmann

I have been with Clearwater since 2011 and am responsible for a wide range of exciting tasks - from internal communications and local as well as international marketing activities to compliance, monitoring, budget planning and the coordination of other strategic projects. I have a central role in the German team and also work closely with the international marketing team. Thanks to my wide range of responsibilities, no two days are ever the same, and the close cooperation with my colleagues means that I am always close to the day-to-day business. It's great to be part of such a committed and close team and to be able to contribute to the company's success. I find balance in my working day with my regular workouts in the dance studio or by reading a good novel.

Rasmus Østergaard

I joined Clearwater International in May 2017, having previously worked for Arla Foods as an Intern, Aarhus University as a teacher and Jyske Bank within capital management. I wanted to join Clearwater partly because of its good reputation as a great workplace and partly because I saw a great opportunity to develop my skills within finance and strategy. Since joining I have broadened my commercial, as well as my financial understanding and learned how to apply this to M&A advisory. Over the years I have gained transaction experience across a wide range of industries including industrials & chemicals, TMT, healthcare and consumer. Additionally, I have worked with a variety of both owner-managed and private equity held companies, such as Golf Experten, Holiday Group Invest, Controlled Polymers, and Graphic West. The wide range of industry and client type experience has been an important learning curve in my career journey so far and is extremely valuable when working on new projects. The dynamic team culture at Clearwater International is another motivating factor, as every day you’re surrounded by inspirational people that are always willing to help you develop further. I hold an MSc in Finance and International Business, which I obtained from Aarhus University.

Jule Weber

I joined Clearwater in August 2023. Prior to this, I spent a year at a corporate finance advisory firm in London, focusing on various sectors, in particular, technology and media. During this period, I also gained valuable transactional experience, which included undertaking an M&A executive program at Imperial College London. I hold a master´s degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics, as well as a bachelor´s degree in Economics from King's College London. In addition, I completed various courses in business administration at Hult International Business School.

Iason Gkenidis

My career at Clearwater began at the start of 2020 when I joined the business as a M&A Analyst, before being promoted to M&A Associate in 2022. Prior to this, I spent several months at Stecc Group as a Junior Venture Analyst. I also interned in the business control team at SuitSupply. Studying wise, I achieved a bachelor’s degree in International Business Law from Leiden University, followed by a combined master’s degree in Law and Finance, with a Cum Laude distinction, from the University of Amsterdam.

Nicola Farrington

As Financial Controller, I am responsible for information sharing and reporting overall financial performance of the international business. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 and spent 6 years at JTI in Manchester and Geneva, holding a variety of roles in consolidation, governance, reporting and FP&A. I then worked as a Financial Controller at SPX and Clarity Business Travel respectively, before contracting at Internet Fusion Group in 2021. I am delighted to have joined Clearwater International in March 2022 during an exciting period of growth for the business.

Agatha Tufnell

I joined Clearwater in January 2024, as a PA based in the London office. My role is to provide support to the International COO, Partners, and team members within the consumer team. Prior to this, I was at an international fine jewellery business based in West London, providing support to the Director. Overall, I have over three years of experience as a Private PA, working for a range of high-net-worth individuals. I am pleased to be part of the Clearwater team, taking on the new challenge of working in a corporate environment.

Per Surland

I joined Clearwater directly from university with my master's in Finance. I've learned the M&A craft from the ground up, having held every possible role in an M&A team. I've always found IT fascinating, and as the person responsible for our internal IT, I've had great success in rebooting various devices. My passion for IT led me to my role as Head of TMT in Denmark in 2014, and since then, I've completed over 35 Tech transactions. I've been a partner at Clearwater since 2009 and part of the international board since 2020.

Christian van Iersel

In 2020 I joined Clearwater as part of the intern programme, before re-joining on a permanent basis in 2022 as a M&A Analyst. In between these dates, I worked as an Assistant Controller at OMA. Alongside my studying, I also completed an internship in commercial finance at PepsiCo. I obtained a MSc in Financial Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and a BSc in International Economics & Business from Radboud University in Nijmegen, which also included one exchange semester spent in the US.
